Calabar Carnival: Fanfare As Governor Ayade Unveils 2015 Theme, Iyanya, Ita-Giwa & More Attend

Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade has declared the twelve Kilometre walk Carnival open during Calabar Festival 2015 event on Monday in Calabar, Cross Rivers State.

The theme for this year’s festival is climate change.

The Governor surprised many as he invited all the Beauty Queens at the event to the stage , and enlisted them as members of a new band called "The Governor's Band" irrespective of their state origin.

Writing Style
This book is written in a second hand writing style with soft language .It is a work of fiction and the story was inspired by the writer’s experiences in the Southern Ijaw area of Bayelsa State.

Evaluation
I find the characters in the story very real despite the book being a fiction. As the first book the Author is publishing, I think she has done a good job bringing all characters to life and making them a reality. The story is based on a real life day to day experiences of people living in harsh life conditions especially in rural areas. These people don’t have access and opportunities their urban counterparts have!
Definitely a book to read!
