YOU CAN BECOME A WINNER

A lot has been achieved, inspiration has got so many things working for me. Everyday that passes by, leaves me with an inspiration  from things, actions and reactions of people around me, especially that of a six-year-old brother whose attitude motivated me to pick a project topic.

Lately, while on our way home after I picked him from school, he made a statement that got me dumbfounded, he got me thinking right there in the spot when he said "sister (as he calls me), those who participated in my  School Inter-house sport, was given a gift today, somebody was given a Nokia phone and a medal,  but I got just a medal and a pack of snack. Anyway, I'm still a winner”.
The word "I'm still a winner" left me without an option but wondered what those who got nothing would tell their parent.

My little brother, wasn't given a phone, but he got a medal and a pack of snack for participating in the game, yet he knew he won and even called himself a winner.
In our world today, a lot of people have given up on themselves due to past failures.

When I read the history of 7up bottling company, I realised that failure does not stop us from trying again, neither does it stop us from winning in future, but discouragement and low self esteem has hindered many from achieving their aimed success and becoming that desired hero.

For instance, the late Nelson Mandela was an epitome of success and self courage. His past achievements, even in generations to come would never be forgotten.

Have you ever wondered what the fate of the South Africans would have been, if there was no Mandela?  Well, today South Africans can boldly Shout "Freedom! Freedom!! Freedom!!!", because the courageous Mandela stood for them and against all odd to bring victory and freedom to his fellow black people.
You can only become a winner when you realise your ability to do things.

My Mum once held her ear, looked into my eyes and said" the only advice you can accept is the one you give to yourself" (which really worked for me). And I said to you my dear readers, the first courage that can motivate you, is the one you give to yourself. Even if all the inhabitant of the earth comes knocking to get you up on your feet, I tell you, you will only stand and not walk until you peak courage and speak to your self.
